A veteran commercial leader, Doug brings 25 years of experience scaling enterprise AI and SaaS businesses across Asia Pacific & Japan. He has worked at the front line of enterprise AI adoption through successive waves of the technology from machine learning-driven spend and procurement platforms to generative AI at Writer, and now agentic AI purpose-built for commercial real estate at Fifth Dimension. As 5D’s founding APJ leader, this is his fourth time building a regional presence from the ground up in Singapore, helping CRE owners, operators, and investors unlock the next generation of property intelligence.
Doug specializes in the zero-to-one phase, prioritizing cultural agility and lighthouse customers over copy-and-paste playbooks. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to move enterprise AI from pilot to production in Asian markets, navigating data governance, localization, and organizational change across Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Australia. His track record includes serving as VP of APJ at Writer, along with senior leadership roles at Basware, Coupa, Infor, and SAP.
Outside work, Doug mentors tech firms entering the Asian market and is always up for a round of golf or a game of tennis.
