Ritesh serves as Deputy General Manager at Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). A career securities markets regulator with over 15 years of experience, he spearheads policy design, regulatory architecture, and market development for Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs). He plays an instrumental role in deepening India’s alternative asset ecosystem, introducing progressive reforms, and actively engaging with market participants and industry players to balance robust investor protection with seamless capital formation.
Across his extensive tenure at SEBI, Ritesh has steered a wide spectrum of regulatory work streams, including initial public listings, innovative capital raising frameworks, continuous disclosures and compliances, and alternative investments. By professional qualification, he is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charter holder, and holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and an M.Sc from Singapore Management University.
