Amit is Head of India at Hines, where he leads development, acquisitions, and operations across the country. Under his leadership, Hines India has grown into a diversified platform spanning office, residential, and mixed-use developments across five cities, with a portfolio exceeding 20 million square feet. With over two decades of experience in India and internationally, Amit has focused on building scalable platforms, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering projects aligned with Hines’ global standards for quality and sustainability.
Previously, Amit launched GE Real Estate’s operations in Singapore, expanding the business across Southeast Asia, and established the North India business for Piramal Fund Management (formerly Indiareit). Earlier in his career, he worked with Marakon in Singapore, advising C-suite leaders across the Asia Pacific region. An active ULI member, Amit serves on the executive committees of ULI Asia Pacific and the ULI Delhi NCR District Council, and is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
