Dr. Daniel Feldmann is a Senior Portfolio Manager, Real Estate, Asia Pacific at APG Asset Management Asia, based in Hong Kong. Since joining in 2023, he has led the firm’s listed and private equity real estate investment strategies across the region.
Daniel brings over 18 years of experience in finance, accounting, and capital markets, with a focus on public real estate since 2010. Before APG, he was a Partner at Hazelview Investments, co-managing global real estate securities strategies. He played a key role in expanding Hazelview’s international footprint—first covering European markets from Zurich, then launching the firm’s Asia presence from Hong Kong in 2016. Earlier in his career, Daniel held analyst roles at 4IP Management AG, Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie., and UBS AG, specializing in global real estate securities.
He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, a Master’s in Economics and Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich. Daniel is a CAIA charterholder, a Board Member of APREA’s Hong Kong Chapter, and Chairperson of the Advisory Board at the Mission for Migrant Workers. He also serves as APG AM Asia’s SFC Responsible Officer for Type 4 and Type 9 regulated activities.
