Jorg is a Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax Japan in Tokyo. He specializes in international tax, with a strong
focus on the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
During his 15-years career, Jorg has worked with many developers and funds in the renewables and
infrastructure space, helping them develop their tax structures and platforms for renewables and infrastructure
assets across the Asia-Pacific region, including their financing structures.
Prior to joining A&M, Jorg spent 10 years with PwC and about 5 years with Northland Power, a global power
producer known mostly for its large-scale offshore wind projects. Among other things, he has been actively
involved in all stages of the offshore wind power life cycle, including early and mid-stage development,
partnership formation, FID and FC (including for the largest ever non-recourse financing for an offshore wind
project in Asia), acquisition and sell-down transactions, construction, and operations. Besides supporting
asset-owners in maximizing the value of their investments, he has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with project and
deal teams to achieve FC and close sell down transactions.
Jorg earned an LLM in Tax Law and an LLM in European and International Tax Law from Tilburg University, the
Netherlands, and is a Chartered Financial Modeler. He has (co-)authored various tax publications.
